Tim Maxwell is the Owner/Operations Manager of Bunney’s Inc. He was born in Colorado but spent most of his life in Arizona and has served our country in both the Marine Corps and the Air Force Reserves. He achieved journeyman status as a fire sprinkler fitter faster than any other person in company history prior to joining the Bunney’s crew. In that position, he did installations at Cliff Castle Casino and Bank One Ballpark (now Chase Field) among many others. In 2006, he brought his considerable leadership skills to Bunney’s Inc. and has taken the company to a whole new level, ensuring that his crew is given the tools to accomplish the goals set forth, while working closely with customers to achieve the exemplary record that Bunney’s has cultivated.
While Tim is devoted to Bunney’s Inc., his heart lies on the open range. He is an avid horseman and would rather be on his horse, Cowpernicus, driving his cattle in the dust and dirt. Perhaps he was born a century too late, as the cowboy life would certainly suit him!
When he is not working (or working cattle), Tim enjoys having fun with his family and friends and would be the first to buy you a beer to wash down the dust. He is a husband, a father and a grandfather to six, and is so proud of his family.
Tim loves to hunt and is always elated when he is drawn for elk season. He also likes classic cars and loves to tool around town in his 1956 Chevy Bel Air.
Louis L’Amour said, “There's a little cowboy in all of us, a little frontier.” Tim believes in that strong cowboy attitude and work ethic and strives to pass it along to his crew.
