Bunney’s Inc. is an award-winning, certified family/woman-owned organization that has been in operation since 1990. Over time, the company has evolved from a General Contractor to an Industrial, Commercial Construction and Maintenance Contractor (specializing in the energy industry). 

It is our philosophy that each project provides a unique and challenging opportunity to showcase our expertise as a diverse supplier. Our commitment to safety, quality of craftsmanship, and pride in the work we perform are the core elements that separate Bunney’s Inc. from other contractors in the industry.

We are a woman/family-owned and operated construction company focused on Arizona's nuclear and fossil fuel plant maintenance needs. Family is important and we have multiple generations working for us. We are a Union company and we are proud of that. A union of the relationship with the customer and a gathering of employees.

OUR TEAM

Andi Maxwell, President

Andi is the President of Bunney’s Inc. Her career in the construction industry spans over 30 years. Andi’s experience has run the gamut in this arena, taking her from the field ranks with Bechtel Power Corporation, to purchasing for a nuclear maintenance group, and eventually leading her to Bunney’s Inc. She took ownership of Bunney’s Inc. in 2006. The company is currently certified as a Woman-Owned Business organization and has been recognized as a value-added partner for Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station. Ms. Maxwell and her team value every customer and view each project as an opportunity to showcase the company’s expertise as a leader in the industry.

Tim Maxwell, Vice President

Tim Maxwell is the Vice President of Bunney’s Inc. He was born in Colorado but spent most of his life in Arizona and has served our country in both the Marine Corps and the Air Force Reserves. He achieved journeyman status as a fire sprinkler fitter faster than any other person in company history prior to joining the Bunney’s crew. In that position, he did installations at Cliff Castle Casino and Bank One Ballpark (now Chase Field) among many others. In 2006, he brought his considerable leadership skills to Bunney’s Inc. and has taken the company to a whole new level, ensuring that his crew is given the tools to accomplish the goals set forth while working closely with customers to achieve the exemplary record that Bunney’s has cultivated.

David Gabaldon, Safety Director

David joined Bunney’s Inc. in 2006 as a laborer. He has a managerial background which he applied to a Safety Representative position in 2008, then as Safety Director in 2014. He ensures compliance with OSHA Standards provides necessary resources in a joint effort with management, leaders and front-line employees to develop a safety management program that motivates employees to embrace Safety As A Value.

Joe Arce, General Superintendent

Joe joined the Carpenters’ Union in 1993 at the age of 19.  His apprenticeship was spent working for various companies.  He finally found a home here at Bunney’s in 2003 and he quickly put his experience to work. Joe needed only three short years with Bunney’s to demonstrate his leadership abilities. Thus, in 2006 he was promoted to this position. His knack for managing people while paying close attention to the needs of the customer has proven to be a valuable asset to the company. Needless to say, he is a true team player and esteemed member of the Bunney’s family. Furthermore, Joe recognizes the need for a bit of fun in the workplace and is always ready with his razor-sharp wit and sense of humor. This character trait is a great part of the reason why people respect Joe and enjoy working for him.

Scott D. L. Weinberg, PMP General Manager - Nuclear Division

Scott has been with Bunney’s since 2009. Throughout his career, Scott has advanced through multiple positions including Estimator, Safety Oversight, Construction Manager and Project Manager on a variety of major projects with municipalities and power generation facilities. He is proud to be among the few construction industry leaders who worked their way up from laborer to executive. Currently, as General Manager, Scott leads the execution of the company’s strategic plan for the Nuclear Division and is the main point of contact of communication between the company and plant executives. Scott holds a Bachelor's Degree in Project Management - Administration. He is a Member of Project Management International and holds certifications as a Licensed Professional Contractor, New Mexico (GB 98).

Sarah McKay, MBA Office Manager

Sarah began her career in construction in 2009 as an administrative assistant for Bunney's Inc. Since then, she has earned a Master's degree in Business Administration, focused in Project Management, from the University of Phoenix. Sarah is skilled in Marketing, Process Development, Portfolio Management, and Contract Negotiation.
